Jonathan's Village

Jonathan's Village is a project that partners with Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB), Covenant Enabling Residences (CER) and Windsor Park to build a group home for young adults with special needs.  This group home will be built on Windsor Park property in Carol Stream, Illinois and will house 6-8 young adult special needs residents.

Purpose of project:
As special needs children move into adulthood, much needed state provided services for education and living assistance terminate, leaving the parents of special needs children solely responsible for providing long term care and services for their special needs adult child.  As special needs adults require in terms of specific medical and/or therapeutic needs, spiritual development, continued education, life skills development, social interaction needs and career aspirations.  Understandably, one of the greatest concerns for a special needs parent is the question of "who will care for my child when I am either unable to care for them and/or I am gone?"
